About the exam
Choral-Speaking exams encourage groups to explore verse and prose pieces together. The group creates an imaginative performance that expresses the mood and themes of the text.
All the members of the group speak in unison, as a chorus, and interact with one another as they perform. Learners may also take lines or phrases to recite alone or in a smaller group.
In-person Group Choral-Speaking exams must consist of a minimum of 3 Learners; there is no maximum. Group Choral-Speaking Remote Online Assessments must consist of a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 10 Learners.
Teamwork is essential. The group is graded as a whole, receiving one collective result for all their hard work.
This is a non-regulated examination.
