Comparative Drama Conference

Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us for the 2025 Comparative Drama Conference July 9–11, 2025 in London.

From provocative panels to unforgettable performances, this year’s gathering offered a powerful reminder of the enduring relevance of drama and performance in confronting the urgencies of our time. We are grateful to all presenters, chairs, organizers, and attendees who made the event such a vibrant success.

The Comparative Drama Conference will return to LAMDA in July 2027.

We are delighted to announce that the 2026 Comparative Drama Conference will be hosted by the University of Wisconsin–Madison, from July 9–11, 2026.

We look forward to welcoming colleagues to this dynamic campus in the heart of the American Midwest for another year of rich, international dialogue in drama, theatre and performance studies.
