Additional Set Piece Lists Now Available

Our new Additional Set Piece Lists are now available to download.

Available for Acting, Speaking Verse & Prose and Introductory qualifications, these lists extend the range of options for the set pieces component of these exams, offering a greater variety of pieces to choose from for the set piece component of your exam.

About the lists

• By suggesting alternative sources for many of our set pieces, we’re aiming to increase accessibility of the set piece content – indicating where each of these can be found in addition to their inclusion in the latest LAMDA Anthology publications.
• Learners will now be able to use current GCSE & AS / A-Level texts for the set piece components of their exams, provided that the content is not replicated in the own choice piece selection.

For example, a learner can choose a set piece to perform in their exam from their GCSE texts, and can source this from a book found in their school library.

These updates are in place for the duration of the qualification lifecycle, with our next review being due by 2029.
