FAQs: Directory of Teachers

The Directory of Teachers is a listing of teachers who prepare Learners for their LAMDA Exams. Membership to the directory costs £24 for an annual subscription, which can be purchased on the LAMDA website.

Yes, you can join our directory as a teacher of LAMDA Exams. It is not a requirement to be listed in the directory if you teach LAMDA Exams, however it may help to promote your business and help you to reach new learners. The annual fee for membership is £24 and you'll receive a renewal reminder in the month before your membership expires. You do not need to hold any specific teaching qualifications to be on the directory. However, there is an expectation that you will have experience in preparing and entering candidates for our qualifications.

1. Firstly, visit the ‘Join the Directory of Teachers’ page. This is where you’ll be able to purchase membership. 

If you already have a LAMDA account, click ‘Login to your account’ at the top of this page, where you can also reset your password to your account if needed. After logging into your account, you’ll then need to return to the ‘Join the Directory of Teachers’ page.

If you don’t have a LAMDA account, you will be able to create one when you purchase membership.
 

2. On the ‘Join the Directory of Teachers’ page, scroll down and add membership to your basket. The next page shows your basket, which should now have Directory of Teachers membership included. It costs £24 for an annual membership. Click ‘Checkout’, and complete the steps to purchase membership.
 

3. After completing this, you will receive a confirmation email that you have purchased membership to the directory. Please note that it can take up to 5 working days for your details to appear on the Directory of Teachers list.

The directory uses your name, the postcode, county and country of your billing address, the email address and telephone number(s) that you provide when you purchase membership.

If you would like to change your details on the directory, or if you do not want one or more of the above details to be included, please contact the LAMDA Exams team after purchasing your membership. We can then update this on the directory for you.

If you teach LAMDA Exams online, contact the Exams team to ask for your details to be added as a listing in the ‘Teaches Online’ section of the directory.

Please note that it may take up to five working days for your details to appear on the directory.

To amend your details on the Directory of Teachers, please contact the LAMDA Exams team with the required changes. We can then update this on the directory on our website for you.

Please also remember to update your contact details on your LAMDA account.
