LAMDA x Lyric Future Technicians

This eight-week course for 14–19-year-olds, running on Monday evenings in the Spring term, offers participants the chance to try out a variety of production and technical roles. Through hands-on taster workshops, participants will explore areas such as lighting, sound, stage management and staging.

These sessions provide an accessible and engaging way to learn about the behind-the-scenes roles that make creative projects possible.

The programme also offers an in-depth Summer School for 16–21-year-olds, where participants will work together on a practical project. This hands-on experience will focus on using production technology in Film, TV, and Theatre, allowing young people to:
 

1.  Experiment with industry-standard tools and techniques

2.  Develop their creativity and technical skills

3.  Work collaboratively to bring a project to life
