The interview
Your interview is an opportunity for us to get to know you and learn more about why you want to train with us. As part of the interview you will need to present examples of your work that you feel may be of interest to us, and to support your application. You will also be able to ask us any questions that you may have.
Here are some things to take note of:
- All interviews take place here at LAMDA in Barons Court. If you live overseas you may be able to be interviewed via Zoom.
- We’ll let you know the date of your interview about two to three weeks prior to the date, but it may be shorter notice, so make sure you’re prepared.
- Your interview will last for about 30-40 minutes.
- Your portfolio should be uploaded with your application or emailed to us in advance of your interview. Unfortunately we are not able to provide facilities to view DVDs or recordings during the interview.
Application notification and waitlisting
We will contact you within two or three weeks of your interview (although this may vary throughout the year) and let you know if:
You're successful. If so, you'll progress to the second round, which consists of a practical session followed by a second interview.
- Second round interviews will take place between May - July (dates may be subject to change).
- Applicants will be contacted by the Admissions team with more specific information ahead of their recall. Requests for further information can be put in writing to [email protected]
Or if you’ve not been successful this time.
